Engage 5 - The Impact Edition

In this summer edition of the CLAHRC-NDL Engage newsletter, we focus on the impacts of our research. In particular we look at how our study teams are:

  • Benefitting patient experiences and outcomes
  • Building research capacity across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire
  • Getting research into practice (a fundamental implementation aim of CLAHRCs)
  • Influencing or changing local and national policy/guidelines
  • Working with our partners to co-produce new knowledge, services and interventions
  • Piloting new services or interventions
  • Helping the NHS to achieve efficiencies
We also profile the visit of Dame Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health, who came to open the new £7 million Institute of Mental Health building where the CLAHRC is now based.
