Research Into Practice 2012 video

In late 2011 CLAHRC NDL offered a number of fully funded research placements for nurses, allied health professionals or members of other non-medical professions. 

Eleven successful applicants - including physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists and ophthalmologists - spent 13 days over 13 weeks conducting Research into Practice including implementing existing research, further developing existing research or commencing original research in their area of practice. Participants came from NHS Trusts - Nottingham University Hospitals, Nottinghamshire Healthcare and Sherwood Forest Hospitals - as well as Derbyshire Children's Hospital, the Royal Derby Hospital and Ashgreen Specialist Learning Disability Service.
